blogMAPEver feel like midtown is just too much? Don’t worry we do too. That’s why we’ve created this list of our favorite places to eat in Midtown. Because, hey, sometimes Manhattan is a bit overwhelming and it’s hard to just find a healthy place to eat.

Living in New York is sometimes (okay maybe often) crazy. Especially when it comes to finding a place to eat. In all the hustle and bustle it’s easy to run to a chain restaurant or get a quick slice of pizza pie. To help out with all these crazy options we’ve created this list of our super secret, super tasty, and (mostly) healthy places to eat (I say mostly because, as you know, we have a bit of a sweet tooth and there are a number of treat places on this list—that being said, these treats are by far worth it, and made with the best ingredients in this city.)

Check out our interactive map here to see exactly were all these places are.

  1. Nish Nush

88 Reede St 10013

The absolute BEST place to get felafel. Seriously, turns non-felafel people into felafel LOVERS, and if you already dig felafel get ready to fall in love again.

  1. Franchia

12 Park Ave, New York, NY 10016

Got to try the mixed vegetarian dumplings, or the stone bowl rice dishes–amazing! Also this is a great place to grab a cup of tea (so fresh and tasty).

  1. Soom Soom

8 W 46th St

If you are in the mood for a quick and cheap, while still delicious, lunch we recommend Soom Soom. Delicious falafel and salad, reasonable prices, and great locations (they are right down the street from our studio and also have another location at 672 Lexington Ave). Try ’em out and let us know what you think!

  1. Maison Kayser

1294 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10021

Pastries! Pastries! And did we mention: pastries! HAVE TO try the white chocolate brios…or really any of their amazing pastries. Great with a strong cup of coffee and a friend to chat with. Nice setting for a treat as well.

  1. Dough

14 W 19th St, New York, NY 10011

Dough nuts. Dough nuts. DOUGH NUTS. Simple sweets made from wholesome ingredients.

  1. Jubilee

948 1st Ave

When you want that special night out and your craving some delicious French cuisine. Come here. The food is divine. I come here for lunch when I want to treat myself.
